CAN I PICK UP MY WINCH?

Yes! If you don’t want to pay additional shipping costs, you are welcome to pick up your winch directly from us in Kunda Park, Maroochydore QLD. Please contact us to arrange a time for collection.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WINCH BREAKS DOWN?

We support our winches post sale and happy to assist with any issues. Most problems are easily fixed over the phone and products for ongoing maintenance or repairs are easily sourced from your local hardware store.

Do i need to pay upfront before my winch is built?

We require a 50% deposit to commence your winch build and the balance is payable prior to shipping or local pick up.

can I use my winch for commercial use?

DNA Winches takes no responsibility for how you utilise your winch. Like many sports you undertake activities at your own risk. We do require you to sign a waiver before taking ownership.

how much rope can I fit in the spool?

A standard winch comes with 100m rope. Our spool can fit up to 300m, however we recommend the maximum rope length fitted is 200m. Extra line can be ordered at an extra $1.50 per metre.

what is the maximum weight of a rider?

Depending on rider skill level we recommend 100kg is the maximum rider weight limit.

can i try before i buy?

Yes, you can try out a demo winch if you come visit us in the Sunshine Coast, QLD and we can arrange a time, date and location for you to test out our winch.

do you accept refunds? What happens if I pay my deposit and change my mind?

In line with ACCC laws we will resolve any faulty winches, but do not offer change of mind purchases. Once a deposit is made it is not refundable as we have already started production and outlaid labour and material costs.

do you ship domestically? What about internationally?

Yes, we ship all around Australia. We will liaise with you upon finalising your order to determine the best method of shipping and cost. Please contact us further if you are located internationally as all shipping costs are at your expense.

do you sponsor NEW riders?

We currently have a team of DNA Winch sponsored riders, however feel free to reach out to us.

do you offer custom colours, graphics, handles etc?

Yes, we offer a range of customisation options based in your desires. Happy to chat if you have a specific colour or graphic in mind. Customising does come at an additional cost.

how do I pay for my winch?

We will issue you with an invoice that you can pay via direct deposit (bank details) or debit/credit card (Stripe).

where are your winches made?

Our winches are made locally on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia.
